NAZEER AHMED SEEHAR JOINS KPT AS GM FINANCE

Mr Nazeer Ahmed Seehar, a senior Central Superior Services (CSS) officer of Grade-20 and a highly qualified individual, has joined the Karachi Port Trust as General Manager Finance. Academically, he has attained Masters in Economics from Sindh University and is also a certified member of 1984 batch of graduates of the Central Superior Services (CSS). He has previously worked for Karachi Port Trust in the capacity of Chief Accounts Officer.

Mr Seehar carries with him a versatile experience of working as member Sindh Revenue Board (SRB) Karachi, Chief Financial Officer of Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Resources, Director General District and Local Audit Sindh, Director General Audit and Inspection Sindh, Chief Accounts Officer KPT, Director Internal Audit Trade Development Authority of Pakistan, Additional Accountant General in Accountant General of Pakistan (AGPR), Deputy General Manager Finance and Accounts in Port Qasim Authority (PQA) and of many other renowned organizations.

During his prestigious career, Mr Nazeer Ahmed Seehar has received trainings of Senior Management Course from National Institute of Public Administration (NIPA) Karachi, Presentation Skills Training from British Council Karachi, Teamwork Training from Pakistan Institute of Management (PIM), Project Management course from Pakistan Institute of Management (PIM), Advance Computer Training Programme from Institute of Business Administration (IBA) Karachi, Financial Management course from Railway Accounts Academy Quetta and a year’s Special Training Programme (STP) in Audit and Accounts.

The career path of Mr Seehar reflects that he possess good knowledge and understanding of ports due to his experience of working in both the ports of Karachi, the Karachi Port Trust and Port Qasim Authority. This has elevated him as a sound candidate for the post of General Manager (Finance) which will help him in uplifting the work standards of Finance division of KPT.
