Karachi Port is the port of choice for the supply and transshipment of coal to destinations in Pakistan and conjunction with China as part of Beijing’s Belt and Road Initiative. The port’s maximum water depth is 16 meters, making it the only port in the Pakistan where maximum size vessels can discharge and load their dry bulk coal.
